We use top of the range Polaris equipment in our treatments. The Polaris laser produces a bright infra red light in a brief flash and feels like a tingling sensation. It will leave a temporary red mark which may last a few hours.
What is involved?
Firstly the area to be treated must be cooled. Immediately after the treatment the skin will be marked with some redness and swelling as well as feeling warm to the touch. Usually a few test shots will be done first to assess the correct power level. If the results are good then a larger area can be treated at the next appointment. Veins generally need two or three treatments, with several weeks between them. |

Our non-surgical facelift treatments use a safe, infrared light source that will heat the skin below the surface. This process of heating may cause immediate collagen contraction but during the procedure, the skin's surface will be protected through continuous cooling. After the procedure, new collagen growth will result in further tightening and development of a youthful complexion.The infrared light travels through to deeper layers of skin causing the tightening of the collagen architecture. The heat is applied deep within the skin, some swelling and redness may occur. A single procedure may take an hour.
Results may be seen over time however full benefits will not be observed for at least three to six months. The waiting period is the most arduous part of the procedure, because it is not immediate. |
